Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel my order?

If the package has not yet left our store, we can cancel the order in most cases. Contact us and we will be happy to help you. If your order is already on the way, we can no longer cancel it.

Not at home?

If you are not at home when the delivery person tries to deliver the package to you. If this is not possible, we ask the customer to make a new appointment. The delivery person always leaves a message of this.

Something wrong?

If something has gone wrong with the content of the package, we ask you to at least contact our customer service via email at sales@homelysuriname.com . You will receive a suitable solution from us within 12 hours.

Warranty duration?

How long you are entitled to a warranty varies by manufacturer and per product. On the product, you will find the warranty duration of your product.

Your rights?

You are entitled to a good product. The purchased product must comply with what you can reasonably expect from this product. A product whose warranty has not yet expired must comply with what you can expect in normal use.

Exchange?

Are you not satisfied with your purchase? At Homely Suriname N.V. you can withdraw your product within 3 days. The exchange takes place in the store, you may choose a replacement product of the same purchase amount.

Lost your purchase receipt?

When we have processed your order, you will receive an order confirmation of this together with the order number. In case of loss of the purchase receipt, you can provide the order number in the store, so that we can find the purchase receipt.

Guarantee?

As long as you have a warranty on the product, the manufacturer guarantees that the product will continue to work properly in normal use. If a product breaks down (non-conformity) while you still have a warranty on it, we will replace it free of charge.

What is not covered by the warranty?

Products that have been damaged by external mischief or normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty. If you are not satisfied with the purchased product(s), you can read more under the Exchange tab.

Your duties?

As a customer, you have a duty to investigate. This means that you need to ask a seller questions before making a purchase when you  are unsure whether a particular product is suitable for your use.
